Training Areas & Key Responsibilities
Learn how to prepare and process employment contracts for new employees.
Gain exposure to contract renewals and continuous contract processes.
Track contract expiry dates and follow up on pending renewals.
Assist with employee confirmations, contract extensions and amendments.
Update contract information in the HRIS.
Maintain records of active, renewed and expired contracts.HRIS Management
Create, update and maintain employee records in the HRIS.
Update employee information following transfers, promotions, confirmations and renewals.
Gain practical experience in maintaining accurate employee data in the system.Attendance & Leave Management
Monitor and verify employee attendance records.
Compile (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({});attendance reports and follow up on discrepancies.
Gain exposure to leave application and leave balance management.
Verify leave applications and prepare leave reports.Personnel File Management
Maintain complete and uptodate physical and electronic personnel files.
File contracts, certificates, leave records and other employee documents.
Participate in periodic personnel file audits and follow up on missing documentation.
Learn confidentiality and secure handling of employee records.Reporting & Data Management
Compile, verify and prepare HR/personnel reports.
Maintain trackers for contracts, probation, confirmation, attendance, leave and employee movements.
Organize and analyze personnel data.
Provide accurate personnel information and reports to the HR team.Qualifications & Skills
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
Previous internship, attachment or basic HR experience an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of HR practices and personnel administration.
Good Excel and computer skills.
Strong organizational and attentiontodetail skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling employee information.
