Key Responsibilities Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, printers, scanners, and related peripherals. Log, update, and resolve support tickets while maintaining accurate records of work completed. Troubleshoot operating system, device, connectivity, and application-related issues. Assist with equipment setup, deployments, installations, and user onboarding. Perform basic network and wireless connectivity checks and escalate complex issues when required. Conduct preventative maintenance and scheduled site visits. Maintain accurate IT asset records, including equipment allocation and serial numbers. Support store upgrades, equipment refresh projects, and technology rollouts. Escalate unresolved, critical, or security-related incidents to senior support personnel. Deliver excellent customer service and provide users with technical guidance and support. Minimum Requirements Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent. Relevant IT qualification, certificate, or diploma advantageous. 0-2 years' experience in IT support, helpdesk, or technical support. Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, networking, and peripherals. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow procedures and document work accurately. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout KwaZulu-Natal.
