We are seeking a proactive and technically competent Junior Engineer (Field Support Engineer) to join our South-East Operations team based in Onitsha, Anambra State. The successful candidate will support network deployment, installations, maintenance, and fault resolution across the South-East region while ensuring excellent service delivery.

Role Summary

The Junior Engineer (Field Support Engineer) will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining customer connectivity solutions across the South-East region. The role requires a hands-on engineer who is passionate about field operations, customer satisfaction, and delivering quality network services. The position also supports documentation, safety compliance, and collaboration with internal teams and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Fibre Optic and Radio (Microwave) internet connections.
• Conduct site surveys and ensure accurate deployment planning.
• Diagnose and resolve first-level network faults within agreed timelines.
• Perform preventive maintenance and quality checks on installations.
• Ensure installations comply with company standards and best practices.
• Document installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities accurately.
• Escalate complex technical issues appropriately.
• Support customer onboarding and provide technical assistance during installations.
• Work closely with third-party vendors and internal teams to deliver projects.
• Adhere to all Health, Safety, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• OND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
• 1 - 3 years of experience in ISP, telecommunications, or network field support.
• Knowledge of Microwave Radio installations.
• Familiarity with RF technologies (PTP/PTMP) is an added advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel across the South-East region.
