We are seeking a Junior Electrician to join our team and support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation and maintenance of electrical systems within an Oil & Gas environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the installation, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems.
  • Support preventive and corrective electrical maintenance activities.
  • Assist senior electricians with electrical fault finding and repairs.
  • Carry out basic electrical measurements and testing using appropriate tools and instruments.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Ensure electrical work is performed in accordance with approved procedures, standards, and specifications.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained.
  • Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and permit-to-work activities.
  • Strictly comply with HSE policies, electrical safety requirements, and Oil & Gas industry procedures.
  • Report unsafe conditions, electrical defects, and equipment abnormalities promptly.

Requirements:

  • OND/HND or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of relevant electrical experience; experience in an Oil & Gas, industrial, marine, or process environment will be an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical installations, motors, control panels, generators, cables, and protection systems.
