Our client, a well-established and fast-growing company specialising in the distribution of spices and food products based in Durban, is seeking a Junior Creditors Clerk to join their Finance Department. Purpose of Role:To support the Finance Department with accurate and timeous processing of all creditor transactions.Duties Include: -Full creditors function from invoice to payment-Capturing supplier invoices (spices, raw materials, packaging, transport costs)-Reconciling supplier statements and resolving queries and price differences-Preparing payment requisitions and assisting with weekly payment runs-Liaising with Procurement & Warehouse re GRVs and delivery notes-Maintaining age analysis and audit-ready filing-Assisting Finance Manager with month-endCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:-Grade 12 with Accounting / Maths (Essential)Diploma / Certificate in Finance, Accounting, Bookkeeping advantageous-1-2 years proven experience as Creditors Clerk / Accounts Payable Clerk-Experience in FMCG, Food Distribution or Manufacturing highly advantageous-Proficient in MS Excel and Sage / Pastel Evolution / SAP B1Accurate, detail-orientated, able to meet strict deadlines-Must reside in/around Durban and be available immediately / short noticeUpload your CV and Qualifications shortlisted candidates will be contactedWe are committed to locating the ideal job for you, so we kindly advise against paying for this service.
