Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a professional, enthusiastic and service-driven Junior Assistant Front of House to join a luxury hotel in Tokai, Western Cape. Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the daily operations of the front-of-house department to ensure a smooth and efficient guest experience.
Welcome guests warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression upon arrival.
Assist with guest check-ins, check-outs and general enquiries.
Provide accurate information regarding hotel facilities, services and local attractions.
Support the front-of-house team in managing guest requests and special arrangements.
Liaise with housekeeping, reservations and other departments to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
Handle guest concerns and requests promptly, escalating matters to senior team members when necessary.
Maintain high standards of presentation, professionalism and guest service at all times.
Assist with administrative duties and ensure that relevant guest information is recorded accurately.
Contribute to a welcoming and organised front-of-house environment in line with luxury hospitality standards.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a front-of-house or guest-facing hospitality role would be advantageous.
A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest service.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A professional, friendly and well-presented manner.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
