We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Yaba, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Accountant to join a finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and post journal entries, including month-end adjustments.

Reconcile HMO claims, patient receivables, and corporate accounts.

Reconcile vendor payables, petty cash, and bank transactions.

Monitor daily financial transactions across departments.

Support financial reporting, budget preparation, and audit activities.

Liaise with HMO partners to resolve discrepancies and facilitate timely payments.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.

Experience with medical billing, HMO claims reconciliation, and payables management is essential.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting software, preferably Sage ERP or hospital management systems.

Strong analytical skills, numerical accuracy, and attention to detail.

ICAN or ACCA certification, or progress towards either, is an advantage.
