What You’ll Do
Own a revenue target for a portfolio of brand accounts and build the pipeline to achieve it.
Run the full sales cycle: Prospect Qualify Pitch/Proposal Negotiation Closing Campaign launch/execution Upsell & Retention.
Build media strategies for accounts: define objectives, develop multichannel plans, recommend ad formats/placements, and allocate budgets against the JAS rate card.
Negotiate and defend commercial terms, including rate, package structure, and annual joint business plans (JBPs).
Convert oneoff campaigns into recurring investments through reviews, insights, and proactive upsell.
Act as the main commercial point of contact for brands and internal KAM teams.
Collaborate with Ad Ops, design, data, and commercial teams to deliver campaigns and KPIs.
Log pitches and opportunities in Retool, keeping pipeline status current.
Report monthly on performance to brands with actionable recommendations.What You’ll NeedEssential
What You’ll Need
Minimum 4 years’ experience in digital advertising or media sales (agency, ad network, publisher, broadcaster, retail media, telco, or brand side).
Proven track record of carrying and hitting revenue/billings targets.
Demonstrable experience closing media deals with brandside clients, including procurement and (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({});IO signing.
Handson experience building and presenting media plans across display, performance, retail media, and social.
Strong grasp of campaign KPIs and budget management.
Comfort with data, dashboards, reporting, and large datasets.
Strong client management skills across multiple stakeholders.
Fluent written and spoken English.Preferred
Existing relationships with brands and media agencies in Kenya.
Familiarity with local media planning and budget calendar.
Experience in retail media or ecommerce advertising.
