Key Responsibilities
Design Solar PV, BESS and Solar Water Pumping systems for tenders and projects.
Prepare layouts, schematics, singleline diagrams (SLDs), Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical calculations.
Optimize system performance, costefficiency and compliance.Technical Analysis & Component Selection
Conduct feasibility studies, simulations and technical assessments.
Evaluate and select suitable components.
Validate supplier specifications and maintain approved hardware lists.Proposal & Compliance Support
Prepare technical proposals, bid documents and compliance submissions.
Ensure adherence to international standards, donor requirements and industry regulations.
Support technical reviews and tender clarification processes.Project Support & Documentation
Conduct site assessments and provide technical support during implementation.
Prepare and maintain technical drawings, reports and documentation.
Ensure quality, accuracy and consistency across project records.Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with procurement, project, installation and business development teams.
Support branch offices and contribute to smooth project execution.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Valid EPRA T3 certification.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in Solar PV and BESS system design.
Experience preparing technical proposals for international tenders (World Bank, UN Agencies, AfDB).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with PVSol, Homer Pro or other simulation tools an advantage.Key Skills & Competencies
