It Security Analyst

JOB DUTIES  

• Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM, firewalls, and IDS/IPS tools. 
• Detect, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents 
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing 
• Review system and network logs for suspicious activities 
• Implement and maintain security controls and best practices 
• Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies 
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards 

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT 

• Bachelor’s degree/HND in computer science, IT, Cybersecurity or related field. 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS 

• Knowledge of networking TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls 
• Experience with Windows and Linux systems 
• Familiarity with SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection tools 
• Understanding of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management 
• Basic scripting Python, PowerShell, or Bash is an advantage
