Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, network, Wi-Fi, switches, and cabling
  • Administer the company ERP system, manage user access, and troubleshoot system issues
  • Provide first and second-line IT support to staff for laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Set up new devices, user accounts, and email for new employees
  • Manage the company email system, shared drives, and collaboration tools
  • Implement and enforce IT security policies, including password management and data access controls
  • Conduct regular data backups and test recovery procedures
  • Monitor for and respond to cybersecurity threats and unauthorized access
  • Manage and maintain the CCTV surveillance system and access control systems
  • Support production floor technology such as barcode scanners and label printers
  • Maintain the IT asset register and liaise with vendors for technology installations and upgrades
  • Train staff on ERP and other business systems, and develop simple user guides

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 2 - 5 years of experience, with at least 2 years in IT support or systems administration
  • Hands-on experience administering an ERP systems
  • Solid understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, firewalls, and network security principles
  • Proficiency in administering Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL) are an added advantage
  • Experience with CCTV and biometric access control systems is an added advantage
  • Self-starter who is calm under pressure and communicates well with non-technical staff
