Inventory Officer (intern)

As an Inventory Intern at Gamma One, you will support the Finance Department in ensuring robust inventory and asset management.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all motorcycles, tricycles, spare parts, and other operational assets.
• Update Asset Infinity with real-time asset movements, conditions, and statuses.
• Ensure all assets are properly documented and registered in the Odoo Accounting System.
• Record and update asset allocations to customers, supporting operations and customer acquisition teams.
• Reconcile system records with physical stock to prevent and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct scheduled and spot-check asset counts to ensure accuracy.
• Report missing, damaged, or underutilized assets to the Inventory Lead.
• Support the Inventory Lead in preparing asset verification and audit reports.
• Follow company policies and procedures for inventory and asset management.
• Assist in implementing strategies to minimize losses and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc or HND in Accounting, Finance or Related discipline
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Proficiency in the use of Excel or Google sheets
• Must be detail oriented and highly organized
• Strong skill in inventory management and record keeping
• Strong analytical skill
