Key Responsibilities
Prepare plant tissue culture media for yam and Bambara groundnut transformation and regeneration experiments.
Perform seed sterilization, explant preparation, and culture initiation following protocols.
Maintain, multiply, and regularly subculture in vitro yam and Bambara groundnut cultures.
Support regeneration, transformation, potting, and greenhouse maintenance of regenerated plants.Requirements
Requirements
Diploma in Agriculture or related field with 2 years’ relevant work experience.
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) or other software.
Experience in Bambara groundnut tissue culture.
Understanding of workplace health and safety and good practices.
