Job Summary:
The Internal Control Officer will support the organization in maintaining effective internal controls, monitoring compliance, identifying control gaps, reviewing operational activities, and ensuring that established policies and procedures are properly followed.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor compliance with established policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Conduct routine operational checks and reviews.
Identify control weaknesses, irregularities, and areas of operational risk.
Review transactions, records, and supporting documentation for compliance.
Prepare clear and timely internal control reports.
Follow up on identified exceptions and corrective actions.
Support investigations into operational discrepancies when required.
Work with relevant departments to strengthen compliance and control processes.
Maintain proper documentation of control reviews and findings.
Provide relevant observations and recommendations to management.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Minimum qualification: B.Sc./HND.
Age: 22 - 35 years.
Good computer literacy.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
