Job Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Internal Control Officer to strengthen internal controls, ensure regulatory and policy compliance, safeguard company assets, and identify and prevent financial and operational leakages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily reconciliation of sales transactions against bank inflows.
  • Monitor the effective utilization of company assets and operational expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Conduct periodic stock counts, reconcile physical stock with system records, and investigate variances.
  • Monitor material consumption against Bills of Materials (BOM) to identify shortages, wastage, or pilferage.
  • Review procurement and administrative transactions to minimize wastage and financial leakages.
  • Identify operational and financial risks and recommend appropriate preventive controls.
  • Conduct regular control and sanity checks and provide accurate, timely reports to management.

Requirements

  • B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • ACA qualification is an added advantage.
  • 3 - 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within Manufacturing, Poultry, or FMCG.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
