  • Davidorlah Nigeria Limited is looking for an Internal Auditor to strengthen our internal control systems, identify business risks, and ensure our processes remain efficient, compliant, and accountable.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As our Internal Auditor, you will:

  • Develop risk-based annual and periodic internal audit plans for Management's review and approval.
  • Assess the design and effectiveness of internal controls across business processes.
  • Review financial transactions, supporting documents, expense claims, payment requests, receipts, and reconciliations.
  • Review procurement activities to ensure compliance with approved policies, budgets, and authorization procedures.
  • Identify and assess financial, operational, compliance, and reputational risks.
  • Provide practical recommendations that strengthen controls and improve business processes.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

We're looking for a professional who has:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field minimum Second Class Lower or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 7 years' relevant experience in internal audit or a closely related role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, risk management, compliance, and audit procedures.
  • Good understanding of internal control systems and regulatory/compliance requirements.
  • Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, CIA, or ACA is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to integrity and confidentiality.
