Position details Position type: Internship Location: Dar es Salaam Duration: 6 months Role overview Tabono Consult on behalf of our esteemed client is looking for a highly organized, enthusiastic, and adaptable individual who is eager to gain practical experience in a fast-paced professional environment while contributing to impactful communication and business initiatives and to support its day-to-day operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in communications, event management, business development, and administration within a professional and international environment. Key responsibilities Support the General Manager in daily operational activities. Manage website content, social media platforms, newsletters, and other communication materials. Assist in planning and coordinating business events, including preparation, on-site support, and post-event follow-up. Participate in meetings and engage with prospective members to support business development initiatives. Conduct market research and contribute to the development and implementation of new services. Provide administrative support as required. Qualifications & requirements Bachelor’s degree obtained within the year preceding the start of the internship in a relevant field such as Public Relations & Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or International Relations. Tanzanian citizen or holder of a valid residence and work permit in Tanzania. Strong analytical and writing skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented. Interest in communications, events, networking, and business development. Confident and professional presentation skills. Strong intercultural and interpersonal skills. Excellent command of English; knowledge of French is an added advantage. Eligibility Recent graduates or candidates expected to graduate during the current academic year are encouraged to apply.
