Minimum Requirements for appointment:
Be a holder of Bachelor's Degree in Public Health or Environmental Health from a recognized and accredited institution;
Hold a valid and current Practicing License from the Public Health Officers and Technicians Council (PHOTC).
Be a registered member of Association of Public Health Officers- Kenya (APHOK) in goood standing;
Technical & Operational skills required;
Practical Demonstration & Instruction: Ability to design, set up, and facilitate practical experiments, skills lab sessions, and field demonstrations for public health trainees.
Environmental & Diagnostic Testing: Proficiency in conducting microbiological, physical, and chemical analysis of water, soil, effluent and food samples.
WASH & Vector Control Operations: Hands-on expertise in water quality monitoring, sanitation technology applications, pest/vector surveillance and disease control protocols.
Equipment Maintenance & SOP Management: Ability to calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and manage inventories for laboratory/field equipment, as well as author and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Demonstrate merit and ability in facilitating practical demonstrations, managing laboratory equipment, or supervising students in an academic or training setup;
Have a proven track record in executing field-based public health interventions, food inspections, or environmental monitoring; and
