Information Technology Specialist At Shepherdhill Security

Job Description

• Provide first-level technical support to staff on hardware, software, internet, and network-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, scanners, CCTV systems, biometric devices, and other IT equipment.
• Monitor and maintain company networks, servers, internet connectivity, and communication systems.
• Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose faults, and implement solutions promptly.
• Ensure data security, backup, and recovery procedures are properly maintained.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, access rights, and email configurations.
• Support the deployment and maintenance of security software, antivirus, and firewalls.
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, licenses, repairs, and system updates.
• Coordinate with external vendors/service providers for repairs, installations, and technical support where necessary.
• Assist in implementing new IT systems, applications, and upgrades.
• Monitor CCTV systems and ensure surveillance equipment functions effectively.
• Provide IT support during meetings, presentations, and company events when required.
• Ensure compliance with company IT policies, procedures, and cybersecurity standards.
• Train staff on basic IT usage, cybersecurity awareness, and system applications.
• Prepare periodic IT reports and escalate major technical issues to management.
