Requirements & Qualifications

For appointment to this grade, an applicant MUST have: -

Diploma in any of the following; Mass media, Journalism, Mass Communication, media techniques, media studies, internal Relations, Communication or any other approved equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C with a minimum of C+ in English or Kiswahili and C in any other relevant subject or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution
Demonstrated professional competence
Good oral and written communication skills
A member of an industry related professional body
Proficiency in operating video and audio recording equipment (DSLRs, Camcorders, drones, audio mixers etc)
Skilled in video editing software e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
Familiarity with live streaming setups and tools is and added advantage
