Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in laying out the polling station and counting room.
Demarcate and display posters at the polling station.
Control queues and guide voters to respective polling stations.
Confirm that a voter has not voted by inspecting fingers for indelible marks.
Identify voters before allowing them to vote.
Issue stamped ballot papers to duly identified voters.
Assist Presiding Officer with sorting of votes after voting as part of counting.
Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Presiding Officer.Requirements for Appointment
Requirements for Appointment
Kenyan citizen of high integrity and nonpartisan.
KCSE Aggregate C and above.
Must be of good character.
Must be available for the entire period of the exercise.
