Oversee development of divisional strategies and operational plans.
Ensure clear goals, benchmarks, and alignment with HRW priorities.

Ensure consistency in research, factchecking, and ethical standards.
Support effective crossdivisional collaboration.Partnerships
Strengthen sustainable relationships with external human rights partners.

Oversee high standards of research, writing, and factchecking.
Review divisional outputs for effectiveness and compliance.Security
Work with Security team to design and implement protocols.

Qualifications
Advanced degree in international relations, law, journalism, social sciences, or related field (or equivalent experience).Experience
Minimum 12 years’ relevant experience in international human rights or related work.
At least 5 years in a management role.Skills & Knowledge
Strong knowledge of international human rights law and humanitarian law.
Proven track record in research, advocacy, and collaboration.
Excellent writing, editing, and factchecking skills.
High emotional intelligence and ability to manage senior managers.
Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and staff wellbeing.
Ability to deliver measurable results and manage complex projects.Preferred Experience
