Provide administrative support including budgets, travel, and scheduling.
Audit and maintain media lists across traditional and emerging platforms.
Handle queries from journalists and connect them with relevant staff.
Track and relay information between regional media teams and communications.
Liaise with HRW press products pipeline and maintain publishing schedules.
Compile and write media roundups and analyses when needed.
Help organize events, meetings, and news conferences across time zones.
Assist with desk research tasks and provide support as required.
Maintain communication among HRW offices, staff, and external partners.QualificationsEducation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, social sciences, international relations, or related field (or equivalent experience).Experience
Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.Skills & Knowledge

Initiative, followthrough, and ability to work independently.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; proficiency in other languages desirable.

Proficiency in MS Office applications.
Proofreading experience desirable.
Understanding of news cycles and international media outlets preferred.
