We are looking for a young, proactive, and safety-conscious HSE Officer to support HSE operations and compliance across our facilities and project sites.
The ideal candidate will ensure implementation of corporate safety standards, improve safety performance, and foster a safe working environment for all employees.
Position Overview / Responsibilities
Assist in planning and coordinating HSE training sessions for staff, especially on applicable safety laws, hazard awareness, and the use of safety equipment.
Ensure all employees strictly adhere to internal and regulatory safety standards.
Support regular HSE audits, inspections, and compliance checks across equipment, machinery, and worksites. Assist in correcting potential hazards
Participate in incident investigations, and contribute to reports and preventive action plans.
Ensure full compliance with statutory HSE requirements.
Present monthly safety reports and incident findings to management.
Identify potential hazards, assess risks, and facilitate the implementation of control measures.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in any relevant discipline (e.g., Sciences, Engineering, Environmental Studies).
Membership in a recognized HSE professional body.
1-3 years' practical experience in safety management (preferably in construction environments)
Knowledge of occupational health and safety principles and regulations.
Strong commitment to safe working practices and personal safety development.
Ability to work independently, solve problems, and overcome obstacles on-site.
