- We are recruiting an experienced HSE Engineer to oversee health, safety, and environmental activities across onshore/offshore fabrication and installation works, ensuring compliance with applicable HSE standards, regulations, and project requirements.
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, plans, and site requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments, JHA/JSA, toolbox talks, site inspections, and safety audits.
- Monitor compliance with safe work practices, permit-to-work systems, and emergency procedures.
- Investigate and report incidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and environmental issues.
- Promote HSE awareness and provide safety inductions, training, and toolbox meetings.
- Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, statistics, and compliance documentation.
Qualification, Experience, Skills and Competencies
- B.Sc in Environmental Science or any relevant degree.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in onshore/offshore fabrication and installation of piping and structural steelwork.
- Membership of the Nigerian Institute of Safety Professionals (NISP) is required.
- NEBOSH, ISP, and IOSH certifications are required.
- Strong knowledge of HSE management systems, risk assessment, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong communication, leadership, safety awareness, reporting, and site inspection skills.
