As the HR Director (Plant & Factory), you will lead HR operations across the plant and factory while supporting the Owner on workforce strategy, employee relations, and key people decisions.
Responsibilities
Partner directly with the Owner on workforce planning, organizational structure, manpower requirements, succession planning, and critical people-related decisions.
Lead HR operations across the plant and factory, covering recruitment, manpower planning, onboarding, performance management, compensation, training, engagement, and workforce development.
Manage industrial and employee relations, including labour relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, conflict resolution, workforce engagement, and employee welfare.
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems tailored to plant and factory operations while ensuring compliance with labour laws, company policies, and applicable industry standards.
Drive talent development, leadership development, succession planning, retention, performance culture, and organizational effectiveness to support business growth and operational continuity.
Provide senior management with workforce analytics, HR reports, compensation insights, and strategic recommendations while identifying and mitigating people-related risks across the organization.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; a Master's degree and professional certification such as CIPM, SHRM, or equivalent is a must
Minimum of 25 years of progressive HR experience, with significant and proven experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly within plant and factory environments.
Proven experience at HR Director/Head of HR level, with experience directly supporting an Owner, CEO, Managing Director, or Business Principal.
Extensive experience managing large and diverse workforces within manufacturing, plant, factory, or industrial environments, including labour-intensive operations.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, conflict-resolution, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
