The Human Resources and Administrative Officer will manage the full spectrum of HR functions recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, records management, and policy implementation while also overseeing general administrative and office management duties.
The ideal candidate is organized, discreet, proactive, and comfortable working across both people-focused and operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources:
Coordinate the full recruitment cycle: job postings, screening, interview scheduling, and offer management
Manage new employee onboarding, orientation, and documentation
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records (physical and digital)
Support performance management processes, including appraisals and feedback documentation
Assist in developing, updating, and enforcing HR policies and the employee handbook
Handle employee relations matters, grievances, and disciplinary processes in line with company policy and labor law
Track staff attendance, leave requests, and timekeeping
Coordinate payroll input and liaise with finance to ensure timely and accurate salary processing
Plan and support staff engagement, training, and welfare initiatives
Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and statutory requirements
Administration:
Oversee day-to-day office operations, supplies, and vendor management
Manage correspondence, filing systems, and record-keeping (both digital and hard copy)
Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes where required
Coordinate travel arrangements, appointments, and logistics for staff and management
Support procurement processes and maintain inventory of office equipment and supplies
Liaise with external vendors, service providers, and regulatory bodies as needed
Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and internal communications
Ensure the office environment is well-maintained, safe, and professional
Provide general administrative support to management and other departments as needed
Requirements
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience in an HR and/or administrative role
Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, CIPD) is an added advantage
