Qualifications Grade 10 or Grade 12 would be advantageous. A housekeeping or hospitality-related qualification would be beneficial. Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures, hygiene standards and housekeeping practices. Experience Requirements Previous experience as a Housekeeping Attendant, Room Attendant or Housekeeper within a hotel, lodge or guesthouse. Experience within a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment would be advantageous. Knowledge of room servicing, bed-making, linen changes and bathroom cleaning procedures. Understanding of hotel cleanliness and presentation standards. Previous experience handling guest amenities, linen and housekeeping supplies. Skills and Competencies Excellent attention to detail. Candidates must have their own reliable accommodation in or around Hout Bay, Western Cape. Must be willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required. Must be physically fit and able to perform housekeeping duties throughout the day. Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift linen and cleaning supplies for extended periods. Must be able to commute reliably to and from the hotel. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
