Job Title: Housekeeper

Location: Abuja (FCT) Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

Clean and prepare assigned guest rooms and bathrooms to hotel standards, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and making beds with fresh linen.

Restock towels, toiletries, and other room amenities.

Clean corridors, stairwells, lifts and other public areas as assigned.

Collect, sort and deliver soiled linen and laundry as directed.

Report maintenance issues, damage, spills or safety hazards to the supervisor and maintenace department promptly.

Hand in lost-and-found items and report them correctly.

Respond politely and promptly to guest requests.

Follow hotel safety, hygiene and confidentiality policies, and use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.

Keep trolleys and equipment clean and organised.

Requirements

Candidates should possess an SSCE / HND / OND / Bachelor's Degree qualification with 2 - 4 PROVEN years work experience.

Good attention to detail and the ability to work with little supervision.

Honesty, integrity and a strong sense of responsibility.

Physical fitness: the role involves standing, bending, lifting and pushing trolleys for long periods.

Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays asneeded.

Good communication skills and a courteous, guest-friendly attitude.

Responsibilities Daily cleaning and presentation Clean and sanitise floors, restrooms, mirrors, windows, furniture and other surfaces using appropriate products.
