House Manager / Household Operations Supervisor At Unocasa Limited

Description

• We are seeking a mature, organised, discreet and hands-on House Manager to oversee the smooth day-to-day operations of a large private residence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily running, cleanliness and presentation of the residence.
• Supervise House Helps, Chef and other household staff.
• Manage and maintain eight sleeping quarters, ensuring rooms are guest-ready.
• Coordinate housekeeping, laundry, linen and household supplies.
• Support the Principal with personal household requirements, including light laundry and wardrobe organisation.
• Coordinate meals and supervise kitchen operations.
• Prepare simple meals when the Chef is unavailable.
• Coordinate guest arrivals, hospitality and room preparation.
• Monitor household inventory, purchases and supplies.
• Identify and follow up on maintenance issues and service providers.
• Maintain household records, keys and access control.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the Principal, family, guests and household affairs.

Requirements

• HND / Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• 3 - 5 years' experience in hotel operations, housekeeping, guest services, serviced residences or private household management is preferred.
• Strong housekeeping and laundry knowledge.
• Basic cooking ability.
• Experience supervising staff and managing household supplies.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Basic digital/smartphone skills.
• Must be trustworthy, discreet, proactive, organised and comfortable with hands-on household duties.
