Role Description.
This role is responsible for identifying and securing new hotel clients for our hotel based in Amboseli Daily tasks include conducting market research, preparing sales proposals and presentations, coordinating marketing campaigns, and tracking sales performance against targets. The executive collaborates with internal teams to tailor solutions for hotel clients, represents the company at industry events, and ensures timely follow-up on inquiries and leads. The role also involves preparing regular reports on market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales and marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategy to drive revenue
Identify new business opportunities and proactively approach potential clients
Preparing and presenting regular reports to senior management on marketing performance, booking patterns, and competitor activities to provide insights and recommendations for future strategies.
Ensuring effective communication with all hotel departments to align Sales & Marketing efforts with operational and business goals.
Maintain a positive and consistent customer experience throughout every interaction
Create and manage annual sales forecasts
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, event planners and multinational organizations to encourage repeat bookings and referrals
Identify and secure new corporate accounts across target industries and sectors.
Represent the hotel in sales calls, trade events, and exhibitions to generate leads
Track customer feedback for ongoing relationship development and address concerns promptly to maintain a positive brand image.
Coordinate with reservations team to streamline booking processes for a seamless guest experience.
Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and presentations to potential clients catering to diverse preferences
Background
Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field
Minimum 2 years of progressive sales experience in the hospitality industry
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to market changes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and travel agents.
Familiarity with the travel and tourism industry
Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends and evenings, to accommodate international clientele.
