Hot Oil / Pump Assistant

Purpose

•  Support the pump operator with rig-up, line handling and housekeeping during hot-oil operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with rig-up and rig-down of hoses, iron and pumping equipment.
• Handle diesel, oil and chemicals safely, following MSDS and spill-control procedures.
• Watch connections and lines for leaks during pumping, and report anything abnormal at once.
• Clean and maintain equipment, and keep the work area clear.
• Help load, unload and secure equipment.

Requirements

• Education: SSCE minimum.
• Experience: 2+ years in well services or plant operations.
• Certifications: the standard offshore set.
• Skills: physical fitness and safe handling of hoses, tools and chemicals.
