Job Summary

  • You will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive history lessons to secondary school students, helping them understand historical events, cultures, and their relevance to contemporary society.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver well-structured History lessons in line with the required curriculum given by the school.
  • Prepare students for internal and external examinations (WAEC, NECO etc).
  • Develop lesson notes, teaching aids, and assessment materials.
  • Assess and track students' academic progress.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
  • Attend staff meetings, workshops, and school events.

Qualifications & Skills

  • B.Ed, B.A (History), or related field.
  • 2+ years proven experience as a History Teacher.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian and world history.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Classroom management skills.
