Healthcare Assistants would not independently diagnose, prescribe, administer restricted treatments or undertake procedures outside their assessed competence and delegated scope. Requirements Previous healthcare/caregiving experience desirable but not always essential. Relevant healthcare assistant/caregiving qualification advantageous. Compassionate and patient-centred approach. Good communication skills. Willingness to undertake competency-based training. Basic digital literacy. Reliability and professionalism. Ability to work under appropriate clinical supervision.
