Purpose

To provide operational support in implementing and promoting health, safety, and environmental programs across the site, ensuring compliance with FMN HSE standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices while fostering a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.

The Job

Support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental initiatives across the site.
Conduct routine HSE inspections to identify hazards, unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and fire risks, escalating identified issues for corrective action.
Assist in monitoring the readiness and functionality of fire protection equipment, safety tools, and environmental compliance equipment.
Support waste segregation, handling, and disposal activities in line with environmental and sustainability requirements.
Monitor and promote the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and report non-compliance.
Assist in coordinating pest control activities, maintaining records, and following up with service providers.
Educate and remind employees on safe work practices, housekeeping standards, and compliance with site rules.

Qualification

5 O'Level credits, including Mathematics and English.
Basic training in Occupational Health and Safety, Fire Safety, First Aid, or related HSE programs will be an added advantage.

Experience:

Minimum of two (2) year relevant experience.
Experience in Health, Safety and Environment, manufacturing operations, construction, or industrial environments will be an added advantage.

Have good observation skills and the ability to identify hazards and unsafe conditions.
Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Be confident in engaging employees and promoting safe work behaviors.
