Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced insurance professional to provide strategic leadership across underwriting, claims management, reinsurance and risk management.
The successful candidate will strengthen technical governance, improve portfolio performance, ensure regulatory compliance and support sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead technical strategy and governance across underwriting, claims and reinsurance.
Oversee underwriting standards, risk selection, pricing and portfolio profitability.
Supervise major claims, claims reserves, recoveries and loss control.
Develop reinsurance strategies and manage relationships with reinsurers and brokers.
Ensure compliance with applicable insurance regulations and risk management frameworks.
Monitor technical performance, loss ratios, costs and key performance indicators.
Lead technical teams and present performance reports to executive management and the Board.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Actuarial Science, Finance or a related discipline.
Master’s degree or Master of Business Administration (MBA).
5–10 years of relevant insurance or reinsurance technical experience, including managerial-level responsibilities.
ACIIN or FCII professional qualification.
Demonstrated experience in underwriting, claims and reinsurance management.
Strong analytical, leadership, communication and risk management skills.
