Job Summary

  • Afriex is seeking a commercially driven Head of Sales to lead B2B revenue growth, strategic partnerships, and enterprise client acquisition. This person will own gotomarket execution for Afriex's business clients from banks and fintechs to platforms and enterprise partners, build sales discipline from the ground up, and expand Afriex's footprint across priority markets through direct sales and channel partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute Afriex's B2B sales strategy and revenue plan, targeting enterprise, SME, and platform clients.
  • Build repeatable pipeline generation, qualification, conversion, and accountgrowth processes tailored to B2B sales cycles.
  • Lead enterprise and strategic partner sales efforts, including complex, multistakeholder deals.
  • Own the full B2B sales funnel: set quotas, forecast revenue, and monitor performance against targets.
  • Structure and negotiate partnership and channel agreements that accelerate distribution and market penetration.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and product on B2B positioning, packaging, and pricing, incorporating client and market feedback.
  • Recruit, coach, and manage a highperforming B2B sales team as the function scales.
  • Represent Afriex in client and partner negotiations, including commercial terms, integrations, and SLAs.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in B2B sales, business development, or partnerships, with direct leadership experience.
  • Proven track record of exceeding B2B revenue or partnership targets, ideally selling to enterprise or platform clients.
  • Experience in fintech, payments, or B2B SaaS, with a solid grasp of enterprise buying processes and procurement cycles.
  • Strong negotiation, forecasting, and stakeholdermanagement skills, including experience closing complex, multiparty deals.
  • Demonstrated ability to build repeatable B2B sales processes from early stage through scale.
  • Comfortable owning quota and pipeline accountability in a fastmoving, highgrowth environment.

Preferred

  • Experience selling crossborder payments, FX, or remittance products to B2B clients (banks, PSPs, marketplaces, platforms).
  • Existing relationships within the fintech, banking, or payments ecosystem that can be activated for partnerships or pipeline.
  • Experience selling into regulated or emerging markets.
