Job Title: Head of Projects & Infrastructure

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Head of Projects & Infrastructure to provide senior owner-side leadership and oversight of the Airport’s infrastructure and capital projects.
The successful candidate will ensure that major projects are delivered on schedule, within approved budgets, to required quality and safety standards, and with full operational readiness.

The successful candidate should combine: Technical/Engineering Expertise + Project Management + Commercial Awareness + Airport Operations Knowledge + Strong Stakeholder Management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the integrated capital projects programme covering terminal development, refurbishment, airside infrastructure, utilities, roads, power, baggage systems, commercial facilities and other approved CAPEX projects.
Coordinate and manage consultants, contractors, engineers and project partners.
Oversee project scope, design, programme, cost, quality, risk, approvals and change management.
Ensure airport operational requirements are properly incorporated into infrastructure and terminal designs.
Monitor CAPEX budgets, variations, claims, contractor performance and project progress.
Coordinate regulatory approvals involving NCAA, FAAN and other relevant authorities.
Ensure construction within the live airport environment minimises operational disruption.
Lead testing, commissioning, handover and Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer (ORAT) activities.
Provide the MD & CEO with regular project dashboards covering progress, cost, risks, contractor performance and decisions required. Aero_Alliance_Head_of_Projects_
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
7 - 11 years' experience in major infrastructure/project delivery.
Proven experience managing complex multidisciplinary projects, consultants and contractors.
Strong knowledge of project planning, cost control, contracts, risk and change management.
Experience managing major CAPEX projects from design through commissioning.
Strong reporting and senior stakeholder-management skills. Aero_Alliance_Head_of_Projects_
Preferred:
Airport/aviation or major transport infrastructure experience.
Experience in a live operational environment.
PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent.
Relevant professional accreditation.
FIDIC or similar contract-management experience.
Knowledge of ICAO, IATA ADRM, and airport planning principles.
ORAT/airport commissioning experience.
Ideally, 11 years' total experience, including at least 5 years on airport projects and prior owner/client-side experience.
