Summary
We are seeking an experienced Head of Kitchen to oversee daily kitchen operations, supervise kitchen staff, ensure food quality, and maintain high standards of hygiene and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff.
Plan menus and oversee food preparation and presentation.
Ensure consistency in food quality and portion control.
Monitor kitchen inventory, supplies, and food costs.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Manage kitchen schedules and delegate responsibilities.
Minimize food waste and ensure proper use of ingredients.
Train and guide kitchen staff to maintain high performance.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef, Kitchen Manager, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of local and continental cuisine.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Good knowledge of inventory control and food cost management.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
