The successful candidate will combine financial rigour with commercial judgement and transaction execution capability. You will be expected to evaluate investment opportunities, assess the value and potential of assets, develop financing strategies, manage financial exposures and translate complex analysis into practical decisions.

The mandate requires more than financial reporting or modelling. We are looking for a professional who understands how to move from analysis to action: evaluating alternatives, structuring transactions, engaging financial institutions, coordinating due diligence and driving material financial initiatives through to completion.

The role will work closely with the organisation’s executive leadership to support strategic financial decisions, strengthen capital allocation and improve the organisation’s ability to unlock asset value and access appropriate financing.

The client’s identity and additional organizational information will be disclosed to shortlisted candidates at the appropriate stage of the selection process.

Develop clear recommendations on investment feasibility, value creation, capital allocation and risk-adjusted returns.

Establish robust analytical approaches for comparing competing investment opportunities and strategic alternatives.

Translate complex financial information into concise, decision-ready recommendations for executive leadership.

Asset Valuation and Value Monetization:

Assess the financial and commercial value of existing assets and identify opportunities to improve their economic utilization.

Evaluate asset monetization strategies, including potential disposals, partnerships, development options, financing arrangements and other value-realisation approaches.

Lead or coordinate financial assessments relating to land, real estate and other relevant portfolio assets.

Develop financial models that compare alternative asset-use scenarios and their implications for value, liquidity and capital deployment.

Assess valuation assumptions, market evidence, execution risks and the financial implications of different transaction structures.

Work with relevant internal and external advisers to strengthen the quality of asset valuation and transaction analysis.

Recommend practical strategies for unlocking value while balancing liquidity requirements, strategic objectives and financial risk.

Capital Structuring and Financing:

Evaluate financing requirements and develop appropriate capital structures aligned with the organisation’s objectives and risk appetite.

Assess debt, equity, asset-backed financing and other relevant funding alternatives.

Analyze leverage, repayment capacity, debt-service obligations, financing costs, covenants and related risks.

Develop financing models, lender presentations, investment memoranda and transaction documentation.

Coordinate the evaluation and progression of financing opportunities with banks, institutional lenders, development finance institutions and other relevant capital providers.

Support negotiations on financing terms, structures, pricing and commercial conditions within delegated authority.

Coordinate due diligence, financial information requests, transaction documentation and internal approvals.

Monitor financing workstreams and drive execution against agreed milestones through to completion.

Treasury and Liquidity Management:

Establish and maintain effective treasury processes that support liquidity, financial resilience and efficient capital utilization.

Oversee cash-flow forecasting, funding requirements, liquidity planning and treasury reporting.

Monitor cash positions, expected inflows and outflows, financing commitments and debt-service obligations.

Evaluate the organisation’s short- and medium-term funding needs and identify potential liquidity gaps or financing risks.

Maintain appropriate visibility over banking arrangements, financing facilities, interest costs and material financial exposures.

Identify opportunities to improve treasury efficiency, cash utilization and the management of financial obligations.

Develop reliable treasury reports and escalation processes that support timely executive decision-making.

Strengthen financial controls and the discipline surrounding cash management, financial commitments and funding decisions.

Coordinate responses to due diligence requirements and manage the financial workstreams associated with institutional financing.

Work with legal, accounting, tax and other professional advisers where required to progress transactions.

Provide executive leadership with clear assessments of financing alternatives, transaction risks and recommended next steps.

Capital Markets and Listing Readiness:

Support the organisation’s preparation for potential capital markets activity, including listing readiness where relevant to its strategy.

Assess gaps in financial reporting, financial controls, governance, documentation and information readiness.

Coordinate the preparation and organization of financial information required for external review or capital markets preparation.

Work with relevant advisers to identify readiness requirements, dependencies and execution milestones.

Develop practical work-plans for addressing identified gaps and improving financial and institutional readiness.
