Handyman - Fezile Dabi District Office

Requirements:

• Grade 10 (Abet level 4) or equivalent qualification. 0 - 6 months experience in relevant trade.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge on how to operate hand and power tools. Knowledge of building safety programs and protocols.
• Public Service Regulations, Public Service Act, Health and Safety Act and Batho Pele Principles.
• Ability to work independently. Building Safety programs and protocols. Ability to operate equipment and machinery. Problem Solving Skills.

Duties:

• Maintain office buildings: Conduct regular building inspections. Attend to minor electrical, plumbing and carpentry problems.
• Maintenance of office equipment and furniture: Repair broken furniture and equipment. Report defects. Safekeeping and maintenance of tools and supplies.
