About Us
SystemSpecs Holdings Limited is the parent company of a portfolio of technology and financial technology businesses operating across Nigeria and Africa. Its flagship subsidiary, Remita Payments Services Limited, is a leading payment infrastructure company powering collections, enterprise payments, and financial transactions for thousands of institutions nationwide. As the Group scales across business divisions, new products, and new markets, it is establishing a stronger, more unified financial leadership function to allocate capital with discipline, protect the balance sheet, and sustain profitable growth. The role reports to the Group Executive Director, Corporate Services.
Role Overview
The CFO is the senior financial executive of the Group, accountable for the financial strategy, performance, integrity, and capital efficiency of the entire Group. The role goes well beyond reporting: the Group CFO is a strategic partner to the Executive Leadership and Boards of our subsidiaries, shaping capital allocation, driving investment planning and performance optimisation decisions. This role ensures that each subsidiary operates with sound unit economics, strong controls, and regulatory-grade financial governance.
The ideal candidate combines deep financial rigour with commercial and technology fluency. They understand how transaction volumes, platform investments, and regulatory obligations translate into margins and cash flow in a high-volume payments business, and can guide a diversified group through growth, funding, and governance at the same time.
