We are seeking a Grade A-B Armed Officer to play a critical role in maintaining safety and security for our clients and their assets. In this position, you will be responsible for carrying out armed security duties with a focus on vigilance, response, and assurance in high-risk environments. You will also be required to possess a valid driver's license to support operational needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to ensure safety and security.
Monitor surveillance equipment and inspect buildings and access points for unauthorized activity.
Respond promptly to alarms and security breaches, taking appropriate action as needed.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Provide detailed reports and documentation of incidents and events.
Maintain proficiency in the use of firearms and abide by all safety protocols.
Assist in training new security personnel on protocols and procedures.
Uphold a professional demeanor and represent the organization positively while interacting with clients and the public.
Requirements
Valid Grade A-B Psira Certificate.
Proven track record in armed security, particularly in high-risk environments.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Firearm License in Handgun, Shot Gun and Rifle
Business purpose competence
Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
High level of physical fitness and ability to handle stressful situations.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional certifications in first aid, conflict resolution, or emergency response.
Experience in a similar role within a corporate environment or asset protection field.
Familiarity with security technology and surveillance systems.
