Geriatric Matron At Tranquil & Quest Medical And Diagnostics Limited

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dedicated Geriatric Matron to oversee the care and well-being of elderly patients/residents and ensure high standards of nursing care and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily care of elderly patients/residents.
• Develop and implement appropriate care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
• Monitor patients' health, medication, nutrition, hygiene, and overall well-being.
• Supervise and guide nurses, caregivers, and support staff.
• Maintain accurate patient records and care documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention, safety, and healthcare standards.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patients' conditions.
• Promote dignity, comfort, independence, and quality of life for elderly patients.
• Address and report concerns relating to patient care and staff performance.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) qualification is required.
• Additional qualification or experience in geriatric nursing/elderly care is an advantage.
• Minimum of 6 years' relevant nursing experience, preferably in geriatric or long-term care.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and emotionally mature.
• Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
