We are seeking an experienced Gas Development & Infrastructure Professional to join our Engineering & Projects team and support the development and delivery of gas infrastructure projects across the upstream oil and gas value chain.
The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across gas gathering, processing, compression, transportation, metering, and commercialization infrastructure, from concept development and feasibility through engineering, project execution, commissioning, and start-up.
This position offers an opportunity to contribute to technically complex gas development projects while working with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, vendors, regulators, and other key project stakeholders.
- Lead the development of gas gathering, processing, compression, transportation, and commercialization concepts.
- Conduct and coordinate feasibility studies, concept selection, technical definition, and FEED activities.
- Develop project scopes, technical specifications, cost estimates, schedules, and execution strategies.
- Integrate subsurface production requirements with process facilities, pipelines, utilities, metering, and export systems.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering interfaces and provide technical direction to contractors and engineering consultants.
- Review engineering deliverables, technical studies, specifications, and project documentation.
- Support project assurance, procurement, construction, commissioning, start-up, and handover activities.
- Identify technical, commercial, schedule, and operational risks and ensure appropriate mitigation actions are implemented.
- Promote reliable, operable, maintainable, and cost-effective project solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum, Gas Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 10 - 15 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, with strong upstream E&P exposure.
- Proven experience in gas development, facilities engineering, infrastructure projects, or related project engineering functions.
- Experience working across multidisciplinary engineering and project environments.
- Strong understanding of engineering standards, technical documentation, project controls, and HSE requirements.
- COREN, NSE, or equivalent professional registration is desirable.
- Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
