Deliver high-quality theoretical and practical training in Full Stack Web Development, covering both front-end and back-end technologies.
Teach students HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, React.js, Node.js, Express.js, databases, Laravel, PHP, Git, GitHub, and web application deployment.
Develop, update, and maintain course curricula and instructional materials in line with current industry standards and emerging web development technologies.
Provide hands-on guidance to students in designing, developing, testing, debugging, and deploying responsive websites and web applications.
Maintain effective classroom management and create a supportive, inclusive, and professional learning environment.
Assess students' progress through practical exercises, assignments, quizzes, coding challenges, and individual or group projects.
Assign and supervise real-world projects to evaluate students' understanding and practical application of web development concepts.
Provide constructive feedback, mentorship, and technical support to help students improve their coding skills and problem-solving abilities.
Monitor and maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, performance, and project completion.
Research and recommend modern tools, frameworks, platforms, and teaching methods to improve the quality of training.
Ensure the safety, proper use, and maintenance of computers, software, and other instructional facilities.
Evaluate the effectiveness of each training session and implement improvements to enhance student learning outcomes.
Guide students in building professional portfolios and preparing for internships, freelance opportunities, and entry-level web development roles.
Requirements
B.Sc. or HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
Strong practical knowledge of front-end and back-end web development technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React.js, Node.js, Express.js, PHP, Laravel, and SQL or NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with Git, GitHub, development environments (IDEs), debugging tools, APIs, and web application deployment.
Ability to design practical projects and explain complex technical concepts in a clear, simple, and engaging manner.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong classroom management, organizational, mentoring, and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other instructors and management.
Passion for teaching, technology, continuous learning, and developing students' practical skills.
Relevant teaching or industry experience is an advantage; post-NYSC teaching experience will be an added advantage.
