- The Front Desk / Admin Officer is the first point of contact for NairaPoint Finance and is responsible for professionally receiving customers, visitors, and calls, and providing day-to-day administrative support to the office.
- The role ensures a welcoming and organized front office, efficient handling of enquiries, accurate records and documentation, smooth coordination of office supplies and logistics, and strict adherence to confidentiality, security, and the Company's service standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Front Desk & Customer Reception:
- Receive and welcome customers, visitors, and partners courteously, and direct them to the appropriate officer or department.
- Answer and route incoming calls, emails, and enquiries promptly, providing accurate information on NairaPoint's loan, savings, investment, and POS & agency banking products.
- Maintain a visitors' log, issue visitor passes, and ensure the reception area is neat, secure, and professional at all times.
- Log customer complaints and escalate them to the relevant team for timely resolution.
Administrative Support & Office Management:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to management and staff, including scheduling meetings, booking appointments, and preparing meeting rooms.
- Manage office supplies, stationery, and refreshments, and raise purchase requests in line with approved procedures.
- Receive, log, and dispatch mail, couriers, and deliveries, and coordinate with vendors and service providers (cleaning, maintenance, utilities).
- Prepare letters, memos, and basic reports, and support the organization of staff events and training sessions.
Documentation, Records & Customer Onboarding Support:
- Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems for company, staff, and customer documents.
- Assist customers with enquiries on application requirements and help check that onboarding forms and KYC documents are complete before forwarding them to the relevant team.
- Track and report on office attendance, asset movements, and administrative requests as directed.
Compliance, Confidentiality & Reporting:
- Protect the confidentiality of customer, staff, and company information in line with data privacy (NDPA) requirements and Company policy.
- Comply with office security, health and safety procedures, and report incidents or suspicious activity to the appropriate authority.
- Submit daily and weekly administrative reports and support audits by providing accurate records when required.
- General Education: Minimum of OND / HND or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Public Administration, Mass Communication, or a related discipline.
- Professional Qualification: Certification in customer service, secretarial/administrative practice, or office management is an added advantage.
- Experience: 1 - 3 years of experience in a front desk, receptionist, customer service, or administrative role, preferably within a bank, microfinance bank, finance house, or fintech.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort using mobile apps, email, and CRM or record-keeping tools
- Basic understanding of financial products and customer service standards in the Nigerian financial services sector is an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a warm, professional telephone and in-person manner. Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
