Assignments will be agreed separately according to programme needs, budget, availability and suitability.
Skills and Experience
Strong graphic design expertise, with evidence of producing original, high-quality outputs that respond clearly to a brief.
Competence in relevant professional design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, or equivalent tools appropriate to the assignment.
A strong understanding of visual identity, layout, typography, colour, image treatment and accessible design principles.
The ability to apply brand, visual identity and accessibility guidelines consistently across different formats, audiences and channels.
Experience developing clear, culturally appropriate and contextually relevant design materials, ideally for international development, inclusive design, accessibility, social and behaviour change, or community-centred programmes.
Relevant country or regional knowledge, including experience working in or for one or more priority countries, currently expected to include Kenya, Senegal, Ghana, Uganda and Nigeria.
Relevant language capability, including the ability to work in English and/or French where required for the assignment.
