The role leads planning, coordination, and delivery of integrated eye health programmes across four counties and partner private eye hospitals. Key Responsibilities
Lead implementation of FHF Kenya programmes at regional and county level.
Ensure integration of FHF projects for seamless reporting, M&E, and partner engagement.
Coordinate technical support from Nairobi Managers and Advisors.
Execute one consolidated plan with delegated budget and administrative responsibility.
Align work plans, fund transfers, and budgets to meet project targets.
Mobilize regional team to codesign relevant eye health projects with partners.Eye Health Leadership & Advocacy
Lead regional engagement with county governments and represent FHF at key forums.
Build partnerships across executive, technical, and community levels.
Strengthen regional visibility and monitor sector developments.
Engage health management teams and stakeholders to expand equitable access.Team Leadership
Plan regional activities and coordinate technical/operational support.
Foster teamwork and manage delegated budgets and procurement.
Lead project reviews and mentor Coast Region staff through capacity development.Service Efficiency
Develop tools to track project results and milestones.
Support partners to use surgical outcomes data for continuous (adsbygoogle=window.adsbygoogle||[]).push({});improvement.
Promote equitable access for women, people with disabilities, and marginalized groups.Technical Support & Learning
Facilitate technical support activities with MOH and county health departments.Partnerships
Develop and enhance partnerships among key stakeholders.
Support capacity building among local partners and health professionals.Qualifications / Experience
Qualifications / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, International Development, or Health Systems.
5–6 years’ experience managing health programmes in an INGO context.
Experience in strengthening public health service delivery, innovation, advocacy, and eye health programming.
Knowledge of national, county, and communitylevel health service issues.
Experience in project management and collaboration with ministries of health.
Experience with devolved health sector and Coastal counties (advantage).
Proven ability to build and maintain productive partnerships.
Experience delivering donorfunded programmes and working with development partners.
Staff management experience in a matrix organisation.
