Victory Farms is a tilapia fish farm established in 2015. VF is located on the Kenyan side of Lake Victoria and has distribution capacity throughout Kenya. The Company is rapidly expanding its farm operation, fish processing, and sales & marketing capabilities. By the end of 2017, VF is on track to be the largest aquaculture farm in East Africa. VF is em Security Foreman Key Responsibilities Supervise and guide security personnel to ensure professional conduct and effective performance. Monitor ground operations, ensuring guards are following protocols and responding appropriately. Conduct regular patrols and spot-checks of all facilities and surrounding areas. Maintain accurate daily records including incident, accident, and activity reports. Assist the Security Supervisor in managing incidents and providing relevant on-ground insights. Conduct investigations and interviews while adhering to company policies and local laws. Perform daily inspections for physical hazards and security risks. Monitor CCTV systems and alarms, ensuring all security technology is fully operational. Lead and assist in emergency situations, evacuations, and first-response protocols. Handle complaints and resolve disturbances in line with company procedures. Escort unauthorized or unwelcome persons off the premises. Participate in and assist with staff training, onboarding, and ongoing education. Motivate and coach security personnel to maintain morale and high standards. Ensure courteous and professional communication, including telephone interactions. Promote a positive and cooperative work environment. Finance Manager Key Responsibilities Implement and maintain robust end-to-end business process management across various operations (Farm, Lake, Logistics, Sales). Drive financial planning and analysis to support decision-making and business growth. Kenya, Rwanda, Netherlands Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and execute cost-saving opportunities. Develop and monitor key performance indicators to ensure operational efficiency and financial performance. Act as a co-pilot for all major investment activities at the farm, logistics, and in sales. Manage international procurement processes with an eye towards savings and efficient shipments. Provide essential operational and financial inputs for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies. Operations Manager Key Responsibilities Harvesting and Processing Operations Oversee day-to-day harvesting to processing operations, ensuring that processing operations are running efficiently and effectively. This includes managing the processing department staff and resources and ensuring that processing KPIs are met. Work closely with the Quality Control team to ensure all QMS processes and SOPs are followed, guaranteeing the highest standards of fish quality. Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity by developing new processes or procedures, identifying, and resolving operational issues, and implementing quality control measures to ensure processing output meets the required standards. Set and monitor processing KPIs, and making necessary adjustments to ensure that these KPIs are met. Work with other departments such as Logistic Centers and Sales to ensure the processing operations are aligned with overall organizational goals and objectives. Farm Logistics Planning and Management Oversee day-to-day Lake Logistics Operations, by working closely with the Lake Logistics Manager to ensure key KPIs are met. You will ensure the delivery, fabrication, inspection, and cleaning of nets. Work closely with the Lake Logistics Manager to develop and implement strategies to optimize the use of resources, minimize costs, and maximize efficiency. Collaborate with departments such as production to ensure logistics operations are aligned with the overall goals and objectives of the organization. Oversee the management of logistics resources such as boats and other equipment and be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and monitoring key KPIs related to logistics operations. Construction Manager – Mid-level and Senior Roles Role summary We seek experienced Construction Managers at an innovative tilapia farm. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering critical engineering and construction projects (with leadership support and technical designs), and maintenance of heavy operational equipment. The role will plan, budget, and execute construction projects, working hands-on with their frontline teams. Victory is growing rapidly – over time, there will be opportunity for you to develop into distinct leadership positions in new parts of the business and new geographies. Key Responsibilities Oversee full construction project lifecycles and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget; manage teams of supervisors, foremen, and laborers. Maintain highest standards on safety and emergency response, for all managed teams and projects. Physically supervise construction operations by being present onsite. Oversee technical and feasibility studies and deliver blueprints that satisfy technical specifications; conduct on-site investigations and planning analysis (e.g., maps, reports, tests, drawings). Short-Haul & Long-Haul Drivers Roles & Responsibilities: Transport fresh fish, inputs and other company goods across Victory Farms’ logistics centers in Kenya. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards. Promptly report mechanical faults, damages, accidents or safety concerns and adhere to scheduled repair and maintenance plans. Maintain cold-chain integrity and ensure proper handling of perishable products during transit Plan and adjust travel routes using approved navigation tools such as Google Maps to avoid delays and ensure on-time delivery. Ensure assigned vehicles are adequately fueled, clean, and operational at all times. Assist with the safe loading and offloading of goods while following proper handling procedures. Accurately complete all delivery documentation, including trip logs, fuel records, and inspection reports. Comply with all traffic laws, NTSA regulations, company policies, and safety procedures. Maintain regular communication with the logistics and dispatch teams regarding trip progress, delays, or incidents. Safeguard company assets, cargo, and equipment during transit. Practice defensive driving techniques and uphold high safety standards at all times. Support emergency response procedures in case of breakdowns or accidents. Perform any other duties as assigned by management from time to time. Qualifications and Skills Minimum high school diploma; a Diploma or higher qualification is an added advantage. Valid driving license required: minimum Class CE for long-haul drivers and minimum Class C for short-haul drivers. At least 3 years’ experience in long-haul or commercial driving. Clean driving record with strong knowledge of Kenyan road networks and regulations. Forklift Operator Roles and Responsibilities Forklift & Equipment Operations Safely operate forklifts and related material-handling equipment to load, unload, move, stack, and retrieve goods within the warehouse, production, and yard areas. Handle various types of loads while ensuring stability and proper positioning. Observe forklift operating limits, including load capacity, height restrictions, and speed limits. Park and secure forklifts in designated areas when not in use. Receiving, Dispatch & Internal Movements Support offloading of inbound deliveries, ensuring goods are handled carefully to prevent damage. Assist in loading outbound trucks, ensuring correct quantities, proper stacking, and load security. Execute internal stock transfers between warehouse zones, production areas, and storage locations as instructed. Ensure materials are placed in correct bin locations in line with the warehouse layout and operational instructions. Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Compliance Strictly adhere to company safety policies, SOPs, and site traffic rules at all times. Conduct daily pre- and post-operation equipment inspections, including brakes, forks, mast, hydraulics, tires, horn, and lights Promptly report any equipment defects, unsafe conditions, near-misses, accidents, or damages to the supervisor. Maintain safe distances from colleagues and equipment, following right-of-way rules. Equipment Care & Maintenance Support Keep forklifts clean, fueled/charged, and in good working condition. Identify early signs of mechanical issues and escalate promptly to reduce downtime. Work with the maintenance team to ensure timely servicing and repairs of equipment Documentation & Reporting Accurately maintain forklift logs, checklists, and movement records. Handle delivery notes, dispatch documents, and internal movement forms correctly. Keep records organized to support traceability and compliance. Teamwork & Operational Support Collaborate with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to achieve daily operational targets. Work flexibly with supervisors to meet changing operational needs Qualification and Skills Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics, warehousing, or occupational safety is an advantage.
